Declares Public Holiday on 11.4.2019 in Telangana

Telangana State government declared Public Holiday on 11th April, 2019 for General Election for Lok Sabha

In account of General Elections for 17th Lok Sabha to be held on 11th April 2019 in Telangana, the state government of Telangana has declared a public holiday for all government offices and schools.

The State Government authorize all the Collectors and District Election Officers in the State to declare local holiday on the day before the day of Poll i.e. on 10.04.2019 (Wednesday) and on the day of Poll i.e., on 11.4.2019 (Thursday).

Similarly all the Collectors and District Election Officers are authorized to declare a local holiday on the day fixed for counting i.e., on 23.05.2019 (Thursday), if necessary.

India votes in the First Phase of Lok Sabha Elections-2019 on 11th April, 2019

91 parliamentary constituencies in 20 states and UTs to go to polls Voting for All Loksabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Telangana to take place on Wednesday Assembly Elections for Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh & first phase of Odisha Assembly polls to be held on 11th April

India votes in the first phase of General elections-2019 on Wednesday, 11th April. 91 out of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies are in the fray in this round.

Voting will take place for all the parliamentary constituencies in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Telangana on Wednesday.

The other states going to polls in the first phase include – Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. In these states, votes will be cast for some of the constituencies in the first phase of general elections.

18-19 Age Group First Time Voters in Lok Sabha Election 2019

Over 1.5 crore new young voters will come to election booth for entering their vote first time in Lok Sabha Elections 2019. This figure is more than 1.6 per cent of the total elector list of Parliamentary election 2019. This percentage is most important to play in the result of General election 2019 war. The election battle will start from April 11 and held up to May 19, 2019.
